I was a Suede fan as a teenager back in the 90’s as well, most of their b-sides were better than most bands singles. Will have to check their new stuff.

I am not a fan of heavy metal never ever felt any love for it although that does not mean I cannot understand the brilliance.
Queen were a big favourite of mine too Morisey was pretty decent too.

There is definitely better music that of my childhood, I knew this even as a youth. I substituted the folk rock of my parents for contemporary stuff.
Joan Baez Ian and Sylvia Peter Paul and Mary
and stuff edging on country -
Kris Kristopherson John Denver
and Neil Diamond

They are. I still think its criminal that Baker is only on radio for 2 hours every week, head and shoulders above any broadcaster out there.

I saw them at the Town and Country Club (Now Forum, Kentish Town) in 1992 but I also saw them in a venue in Stoke Newington about a year before - I can't remember the name but it was just past the station going up Stamford Hill.
The new album sounds like it is going to be their best for years...if the single is anything to go by

There were some excellent journalists back then...it was always a thrill to know that somebody who was able to write was able to articulate what you felt about a band...

Used to listen to a lot of pop music in my teens, Joe Brown, The Tornadoes and late on the Kinks and Dionne Warwick. I sort of stopped at about 17/18 years of age and gradually became more interested in classical music.
